Translation
“All this, whatsoever moves on the earth, is to be covered by the Lord. Protect (your Self) through that detachment. Do not covet anybody's wealth. (After Müller, with the opening as commonly parsed.)”
Translation · F. Max Müller; editorial clarification of a public-domain rendering
Context
The Isha Upanishad opens the White Yajurveda's short Upanishad. 'Covered by the Lord' and 'enjoy through renunciation' have generated centuries of reading. Müller's 1879 English is dated in diction; the Sanskrit is the source.
